"Eleven Eleven"
Long before 9/11 there was 11/11. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, the negotiated end of the "Great War".
People who experienced the odd silence that fell over the battlefield realized that all the chaos and mayhem of war had been human made, human controlled. It still is.
